Welcome to Austin Godber’s People Page
When the WWW first started, one of the original things people started doing was collecting links to their friends and good reference sites. This eventually led to the invention of search engines that would crawl all those links, collecting and indexing them. Then someone came along and decided that the pages that had the most other pages pointing to them must be the better pages. That was a good idea ... so good that the search engines that followed it became really effective, this resulted in fewer people putting links to good information and thus the effectiveness of those page rankings lessened.
The above line of thought is by no means original and the way search engines do their job now is somewhat changed. The real reason I mention this is because you will notice lots of links here on my webpage. This page will be just like old times and include links to my friends others I find myself affiliated with.
